One more flower card !!!!

One more post on the same day !!! I have never been able to do this before.... lol.... I wanted to use the new flower stamp so badly that I just stamped it and colored it in sunny yellow and ochre colors. Used a brown colored thread to add a border and pigment ink to create worn-out style borders (I did not have distress inks at that time)..... I stamped the background using one of the Life is Good collection stamps. I colored the Maya Road chipboard alpha using sunny yellow and brown colors. The colors turned out to be very bright and sunny and that became the reason for the sentiment "Great Day"..... I loved how this card turned out. I am not entering it for any challenge. It is just for fun.

Flowers and distress inks....

Hi everyone...... This time I have really taken very long to post something... all thanks to lots of work at home and also I have not been having a good time off late. Got down with sinus first and then fractured my leg. But the later has helped me get some time to take photos of my creations I have recently created. My first set of distress inks arrived 15 days back and I am so happy to possess them that I have created a lot of things from them. The inspiration for this card came from a source I don't remember :P. But some newly released PTI Stamps were used in that creation. So I liked the idea of creating a window themed card. It gives a look as if you are looking outside from the window of a house and can see a lovely landscape outside... I hope it gives the same feeling to you people :))))I just wish I had used a more colorful paper for the front of the card. Let me know how you like it. I used sponge daubers on purpose and not sponge applicators... just to give it a dotted or a fingertip-printed effect.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
1. DYSU Challenge #26 Squares
2. Ruby's rainbow Challenge - Flowers
3. Hooked On Craft Challenge-Flowers
4. Deep Ocean Challenge - Flowers

My Trimmer has arrived... Yay yay yay !!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone,

On National Scrapbooking Day, I had won a Fiskars Premium Cut-line trimmer in a challenge at the Creating Keepsakes CK Club and My FISKARS PREMIUM CUT-LINE TRIMMER has arrived. I am so excited to have won one because I wanted one so badly. And they also sent me the Creating Keepsakes magazine's February issue and I read it the very day I got it :P. Trust me it is really interesting. So many techniques and ideas for scrapbooking which can be used in card-making too. And yeah yeah yeah.. I also received an attacher which says "Part of the Flock Club CK"... So here are some pics of the surprises I got.
